For Quinoa: Add quinoa and water to a small saucepan and bring to a boil. Once boiling, reduce the heat to the lowest setting and let the pot simmer for 15 to 20 minutes, or until all of the water has evaporated from the quinoa. Fluff with a fork and serve. For Butter or Lima Beans: Add beans to a small saucepan and heat until hot. For Stir Fry: Add vegetables and water to the pot as needed, and saute for 5 to 10 minutes. Add seasonings, saute for another 5 minutes, and serve. See video for visual instructions.
For Quinoa: (How to Make Perfect Quinoa Every Time) 1 cup red quinoa 2 cups + a scant 1/4 cup water For Butter or Lima Beans: 1 BPA-free can of rinsed and drained organic lima or butter beans For Stir Fry: ¼ cup water, plus more as needed for sauteing vegetables 1/2 onion, chopped 4 large garlic cloves, minced 2 carrots, chopped 1 small red bell pepper, cored and coarsely chopped 1 yellow squash, chopped 1 zucchini, chopped 1 can lima beans ½ teaspoon each thyme, onion powder, smoked paprika, black pepper, red pepper flakes 1 tablespoon Herb Fest by Frontier Sea Salt to taste 1/4 cup chopped Italian or flat-leaf parsley
